Today I started writing a petition to Save the Art programs in public schools. I find it important to stimulate the childrens minds for more out of the box thinking. Where would we be without our early philosophers? Back in Ancient Greece, never venturing any future still believing the World was flat? *Einstein was no school genius. Probably not even be in the sacred top 10% where all the colleges look for the best they can get to attend their school. Would you have denied this man to further his education unknowing of all the accomplishments he would achieve later in his life? Honestly, when it boils down to it all of our maths, sciences, and literature are an art. The level of higher thinking and not being afraid to think further, to be deemed as crazy? If we were to discontinue the teachings of arts such a theatre, photography, painting, drawing, sculpting, music, etc. where would they be learned? How could children with lower funds be able to learn as well? Why should everything in this life be only available to the rich man? The oneeee thing I thought we could always be able to count on, our mind. How we use it, and what we think, would now be PRICED?! Also, for our mental and physically challenged. What do you expect them to do? Yes, physically challenged could still be book smart, what will they do in their free time to unwind? Read? Like they do all day learning? Working with our hands make our brains function faster and develope better motor skills and reflexes. As for our mentally challenged. They have been dealt a hand in life that puts them behind even further than anyone else. Deny them of something that doesn’t take their mind which may function slower than everyone else? Give them something to enjoy, as everyone else. I find art one of my only releases of stress I get during the day to be myself and refresh my mind, if that isn’t availiable anymore I bet we would all go completely mad. So, this is my first tumblr entry and I’ve had quite a lot on my mind.

I guess the thing that comes to mind most is love.
I once had that love that everyone envied.
When you said forever, and truely believed it.
Not the little high school fling where you “love”
the person your dating.
Ya’ll go to the movies, parties, mall, together.
How many of you could spend time just talking,
going to church, or even going to Mexico on mission?
Spending time not kissing and listening to that persons
thoughts and outlook on life.
Learning their weaknesses and praising their strengths.
True love is dependant on two souls ready
to completely give themselves to one another.
What ever happened to “Until death do us part?”
How can we say these words and then deny them
when we “don’t love them anymore.”
How does a love so pure suddenly disappear?
It doesn’t.
It never leaves.
I know life gets tough, and throws unexpected
shit at you all the time
but that person is the one person you should
ever count on the truely be by your side.
Life is too hard to get through alone.
They are your rock, and you are theirs.

I use to think love was a false emotion,
something we create to aspire to find.
But it is real, don’t search for it
because it will never be found while looking.
It’s unexpected, unexplained and truely amazing.

I guess I just miss it.
